American Apparel, The cash-strapped clothing retailer has announced it is preparing for a fresh round of expansion overseas in department stores.
Europe. Galeries Lafayette in France which has also been selling
American Apparel at its Paris flagship store has extended its
distribution to other locations with plans in place for further
expansion. These new deals for American Apparel are a new way to
expand its operations while cutting down on the cost side of things.
They have in addition been in similar talks with Bloomingdale’s in the
US though this isn’t confirmed at this stage.
