According to this Washington Post article , it is interesting to see why 50 cent has filed for bankruptcy. From a pending sex tape lawsuit that he has to pay out around 5 million dollars. On top of that, he also filed for bankruptcy for his boxing promotion company SMS Promotions on May 26th. In a way he is just trying to get everything in order and pay down what debts are owed and keep his saving he has once the judge reviews in court. Either way, it’s a big surprise for everyone especially 50 cent himself.
