Sony is going to post a record $2.9 billion annual operating loss due to lower demand and a strong yen, and also showed new restructing steps to get its bad electronic operations back on to the top.

It will also cut some of the plant operations in japan and plans to cut 30% of the operations related to the tv design worldwide.
