With the iPhone 6 and the 6 Plus now out on the market, buyers are storming the stores to buy the newest iPhone but the question is, which one should you buy? It all depends on your individual preferences so here, you can review the differences between the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus so that you can choose which one is better suited for yourself.

Screen Size:

The biggest difference between the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus is obviously the screen size. The iPhone 6 has a screen size of 4.7 inches diagonally and the iPhone 6 Plus is 5.5 inches diagonally. This actually goes toe to toe with the Samsung. Finally, we have some competition in the market.

Price:

  • iPhone 6: Starts at $199 for the 16 GB device, starts at $299 for the 64 GB device, and starts at $399 for the 128 GB device (with a 2 year contract).
  • iPhone 6 Plus: Starts at $299 for the 16 GB device, starts at $399 for the 64 GB device, and starts at $499 for the 128 GB device.
  • Both the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus are available in 3 colors including gold, space gray, and silver.
  • Battery Life:

The good news is that both the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus beat any other iPhone when it comes to battery life. There is a one that is better out of two though.

    • The iPhone 6 has a battery life of 14 hours using talk time on 3G.
    • The iPhone 6 Plus has a battery life of 24 hours using talk time on 3G.

As you can see there is a definite winner of double the hours for the iPhone 6 Plus when only using talk time.

    • When using WIFI, the iPhone 6 has a battery life of 11 hours while the iPhone 6 Plus has a battery life of 12 hours while surfing the web.
