Retail consumer spending up

Amazon ranks high with customer service

Market Analysts say Consumer spending is up due to increasing Gasoline prices. Retail sales increased significantly by 0.4% last month making it the ninth consecutive gain in a row. On the other hand, however it is worth noting that Auto sales are on the decline due to climbing Oil prices and other factors like cost of living and so forth. Economists are predicting that a payroll tax cut and job growth will boost consumer sales for the rest of the year. Analysts are also concerned. However, that spike’s in energy prices may not leave shoppers with as much to spend as usual.

With the large success of the Christmas shopping season, retails are looking to cash in further with extended promotions. Stores are hoping that consumers will take advantage of extended discounts throughout January to start off the New Year with a bang. Many online stores are still offering free shipping for almost any order and retail stores are looking to cash in by offering 30-40% off many items. Also now is the best time to stock up on holiday items for next year with Christmas items such as wrapping paper, discounted up to 90% off in certain stores.

Looking for a retail job

Looking for a retail job in this market is tough, but
it is not impossible. Like every job, you have to start looking
online to various job sites to see if any retail stores
are hiring. In my case, I did work at couple of retail office
stores
and it wasn’t a work in the park. With today’s
retail economic woes, if you do decide to go into the retail
job sector
, you might find some part time work, but if that’s
what you want, thats a step in the right direction.

role in the Healthcare system with the new Healthcare plan
being passed by Congress. Even tho most retailers don’t
make any profit off these shots, it does let the customers
come into the store and look around on what these retailers
have to offer.CLICK HERE FOR FULL STORY.
