retail holiday season . So most customers that will
go out and shop will have to fight for the gifts they are looking
for this upcoming holiday season. I thought this was going to
happen regardless, because of a horrid retail sales
for the last couple of months, retailers have to be very careful
of not over ordering this season.
From Walmart, to target, to all the big time retailers, trying
to get consumers back for back to school sale is
going to be heating up. Not only are they cutting prices
dramatically at major retailers like Walmart and Target,
K-mart will be offering retail freebies to lure
more customers in. Most consumers are spending lot less than
past year and it shows on the numbers. They are not going for
new fads, but cheaper shoes, t shirts, and jeans. There are
plenty of great retail deals to be had.
Ann taylor stores are getting ready to cut 160 positions
after a 20% drop in the second quarter sales. They are
predicting 20% drop in second quarter sales. It sounds
like a good move for Ann Taylor. The retail sector isn’t
doing very well at the moment and you have no choice but
to cut costs and staff as it gets ready for a tougher
second quarter.

this sound like a good deal? Ofcourse, especially if you are
