Slashing prices aren’t working
Have you seen the amount of prices being slashed to lure more retail
customers inside the stores!? I have seen tons of retail shops
going over and above to lure some customers.CLICK HERE FOR FULL STORY.

When I go to the mall, I see ton’s of people buying less and less. Is it because of the
current economy, I think so. In a way it’s a good thing, I never buy on impulse,
I buy on the things I mostly need. If I don’t need it, Why waste my money on buying
something and spend that money. I have learned to save and buy only the things I need.
Now ofcourse, if you do have a great job and can afford to buy some of the things you love
most definitely go ahead and buy it. But if you barely making ends meet, I suggest to
save for times when you actually do need the cash!
Many retailers went to congress to oppose the 5 day
delivery proposal that will make USPS only ship 5 days a week and
not 6 days. This could impact many retailers who use USPS
to ship products out like Amazon.CLICK HERE FOR FULL STORY.
Mobile shopping is really taking off in ways even I didn’t know.
I hardly shop on my phone, but a lot of consumers are finding
it easier and less stressful to just shop via their phones.
Ebay is leading the way. If you have the ebay application on your
phone, you can bid on literally anything you want with ease. I
sense more websites will have this friendly application for
their sites making it a money maker in a long run.CLICK HERE FOR FULL STORY.
Retailers including Target, Office Depot, Staples, and some other’s
will start offering discounts if you use their own credit card. From
percentage discounts, to giving away freebies. With the retail sales
not being as solid as it supposed to be, this is a great idea
for retailers to boost sales. With the job losses, and job
market not being what it used too, retailers can’t count on even
congress to help the consumers with the issues at hand. The whole
credit card idea is very smart, it will lure consumers into their
favorite retail stores, and at the same time give discounts to lure
them back in the future.CLICK HERE FOR FULL STORY.
Online business giant Amazon has acquired to buy
Woot , the store that offers one thing for sale per day
til it sells out. I actually check out Woot everyday to see if
there are deals that can be found on there. It’s a great buy
for Amazon, as it’s slowly taking over the online retail
world one site at a time.CLICK HERE FOR FULL STORY.
Everyone here has heard of Target , the massive retailer
will be redesigning well almost of their retail stores and adding
groceries where they used to supply gardening. Great news,
a lot of retail stores now days, has started adding more groceries
to lure more customers and adding more varieties for retail
customers.CLICK HERE FOR FULL STORY.
Since the horrible accident of the Gulf, many shops and food places have
lost sales. Some of the restaurant’s that offer sea food, prices
have gone up. Since many retailers have filed claims with BP ,
for their sales losses, it’s been tough for them to get any
response from Bp in regards to the payments they have promised.CLICK HERE FOR FULL STORY.
Blockbuster video has been trying to get back up to it’s feet
after losing millions of dollars in revenue and closing many
video stores across the US. But it’s still moving along, trying to
open up rental kiosks similiar to redbox. On top of that, they will
also focus on video games as a good revenue earner. Overall, I hope
they survive and get back to their feet and focus back to what
made, even tho they will be closing more retail stores in the
near future.CLICK HERE FOR FULL STORY.
