Halloween sales lures customers

Retailers are advertising in paper and also online for halloween holiday sales spike
that can happen this time of the year. This is just a little test of the holiday season
that is on the kick start as Black Friday is coming closer. Most retailers
have already start decorating for the Christmas coming. You Tube is also playing
a huge part as many retailers are advertising on You Tube to get the maximum
exposure.

Social Media Power

As anyone here knows, the power of social sites are Facebook and ofcourse Twitter. Those
two private companies are where most retailers are and will start looking to advertise
their products. Social media is only growing, and it will only get bigger as time
progresses. Forget news, people go on social media sites more than care about the
news these days.

Walmart will start selling Nook!

Big retailer WalMart will start selling the e reader Nook at the
Walmart Stores. I don’t why they never did this kinda of a deal with Walmart before, the nook
is sold at the Best Buy stores already, Walmart is huge and Nook would be getting
huge amount of sales power with coming together with Walmart.

Retail websites changing designs

More and more retail sales sites like Sears and many other’s are changing
the ways their websites look. Making it more user friendly and more up to date galleries
of the items they would be looking for. I think most sites should get rewamped to be
more competitive online with other big retail business sites.

Crazy black friday online

For people who know what black friday is, you know the craziness that
retail consumers will go through at the malls, shops, and anyplace there is a store
for some sales. Even better will be the amount of online items that will go for sale.
Many online retailers including Target and Wal-Mart will be blasting tons of items
for sales to snag online consumers to their websites!.

Shopping while you are working?

Seems like more shoppers shop while at work. It saves a lot of time, when you don’t have to
go after work to the mall or any retail store looking for items. From Ebay to
other huge online sites, you can buy anything with a click of a mouse and have it shipped
to you quickly without going anywhere. While working, you are doing two things at once, and
I sense it only growing as holiday season rolls around.

All about promotion

This 2010 holiday season is all about promotion and heavy sales! I sense there will
be less spending going on as the economy and the uncertain job market will stop
many retail shoppers from spending a lot. There is going to be aggressive sales
tactics used to lure customers and make them spend on items. And I mean major cutbacks
on popular holiday items that customers get this holiday season. Wait til the holiday season
to get some shopping done, you will probably save more!.

Kohls will be adding more stores

You must have heard of Kohls , the retail clothing line will be opening more
stores and hiring more retail workers in the coming months. They are one retail clothing
store that is not stopping. If you are looking for a career in retail and moving
up the ladder to management, Kohl’s is of those companies. Even tho the stress level
is high, if you like a retail challenge, go with it.

Halloween shoppers anyone

Halloween means more candy and costume sales for most retailers. This will give
more boost to the retail sector that is still struggling and moving
along to the end of the year.
